you're the one for me >>
but I do not know who and where you are........... < ">

You can call me Noi! This blog consists of my thoughts. I am just a simple person with BIG dreams! Like the charcoal, hot pressure and extreme heat must be present in order to create a Diamond. I am in the exact same process.

I woke up early today. I was suppose to go buy tickets for the E Funkhouser rally for my team and I was warned that I have to be there early or I may not have the chance to purchase it. So I left the house at 8 am and reached there at 9 am. They were just opening the door and I was the first 10 people there. So I bought the tickets, pick up my products and left there at 9.30 am. It was pretty fast, so I reached home around 10.30, and I even managed to buy breakfast for mom and me.

Its so amazing that I can do so many things when I wake up early. Haha. Usually, we wake up early on days we have to work. So to wake up early on an off days like feels like you have the extra time to do whatever you want to do. Haha I know its lame but ever since I enter the workforce a few years ago, time seem to go by really fast. We get more tired, we get more jaded, we gossip more, we eat more and gain weight...oooo...all the wonderful things that come along with a job. It becomes so routine you know, like robots, doing the same thing everyday. In fact just now on my way to HQ, there were so many people leaving their homes and going to work, all wearing the same 'I hate mondays' look. Thank goodness for me, I work with children and people so everyday is different. Kids never fail to remind me that no matter how busy, tired I am, there's always time to have some fun.

In my whole entire life, I have never watched any movie thats not in English or Malay. Through a good friend's recommendation, I watched this french movie, Yamakasi which I thought was the coolest action movie ever. They make Jackie Chan look really amateur! No offence. I am a Jackie Chan fan too.

Today is Brian's birthday! Happy birthday! Not thats he's gonna read this site. Has it really been so many years? Also congratulations for being nominated for a Dove Award in the category of Inspirational Recorded Song of the Year for “In Christ Alone". Its a great and beautiful song taken from his solo Christian album. I am not sure if its release yet. Actually I really like the song even though I am not a Christian. There is just something soothing about the song. It talks about reflection, hope, how worldly success does not equal to peace of mind and praise from God. You can listen to it at his myspace page:

Also, recently, I left my blog address on my friendster and myspace page. I am really new at myspace and I dont really know the people there. However at Friendster, it consists of people I actually know. Some of them are my primary school mates, secondary school mates, course mates, poly mates, business associates, neighbours and acquaintances I get to know from time to time. The best thing about Friendster is that it brings people together, even the ones I have lost contact with. I have found so many of my long lost friends from school at Friendster that its seems weird to me here why anyone who have internet access does not have a Friendster account. Well, maybe they dont want to find anyone there. Who knows. So if you are here because you wanna know whats going on, thanks for being here. However if you are here because you wanna judge me, thanks too cos I dont really care what you think. I have learned the art of selective listening and I choose to listen to only the positive.

The course on saturday too has open up my eyes on being judgemental. We were covering on stress management for kids but the trainers wanted us to face and express our own personal stresses. I find it so interesting that this trainer can listen to all the negatives about someone and still NOT be judgemental. Well, maybe thats why she make such a good psychologist. As she was explaining that we judge people 90% of the time, I was like blah blah..I dont do that. I dont care about others personal life. But while we were doing the behaviour strategy for some of our kids, thats when I realise that I have been judging. For example look at these 2 sentences:

1. He refuses to open his mouth.
2. He closes his mouth.

Both sentence mean the same thing but the 1st one sound negative and by saying it to another person, we already give the person we are talking to, a negative impression of this kid. So I am guilty of that. I will strive to be better at this.

Its courses like this that made me think and reflect on my own work ethics. Its always nice to discover something negative on your own rather than have someone tell you about it. I have learned to be more aware and sensitive with issues dealing with people. Both for work and for my business.
