Thank you Britt Team / Tuesday, July 29, 2008 @ 10:10 AM
Thank you Britt Team! Wow, I feel like its been sooo long since I last updated my blog. I have been meaning to write in on so many occasions but was drfited away by work and the growing team that needed more of my attention. Nevertheless, I am here today, taking a quick break from work, or what we call it in school, recess time, for me to express the many occasions of excitement that surrounded me these past weeks. On Friday, I had the opportunity to bring one of my colleagues to PASE and how awesome that was. The team was also briefed by The Armstrongs about Product Fair and the committee team was to share a few things on what will be happening on Sunday. As in any Britt tradition, I brought my guest to Ender, who edified me and left me amazed. His words to my guest were like water to quench the thirst of someone who have not been drinking for days. Towards the end, he said to my guest: 'It will be an honour for my team to serve Afni's team, and do whatever we can to help you achieve success.' Such strong words, if Ender was a lady, I would have hugged him! Haha. That was how touched I was. What was even more relatable was that Ener is also very successful in his day job and since they share a profession, he was truly the best person to bring to. As we went out, there, we saw another leader, Saifuddin, who again, did the same edification of BWW and my team, in a totally different manner. He talked about family and how in a bad situation, our own family may not be able to help us. It was logical and if my guest did not catch any ball, then he is definately do not qualify to be part of this awesome Britt team! As such, Friday was such a long day and I am always exhausted on Saturday. Still, I made way to Darul Mawa to teach and I had the twins, Akbar and Hafiz next to me. These boys need so much more help that I can give and for once, I felt so helpless and I wish I can work with them on a more regular basis. One day, it shall. Product Fair Extravaganza on Sunday! What a blast! We had to be there as early as 11 am but the staffs only opened the door at 12.45pm! Upon arrival at 11 am, I was suprised that I was not the only one there! There were so many others, some non committee members who were early! We just sat around to chit chat and wait. Then Ratna came in with the family, yes, all 4 children and she brough 1 tumbler of food that was snapped within minutes. Haha, hungry people mah. A few minutes later, the 1st floor was greeted by the freshness of my team wearing green! Yes, we are representing Nutrilite and green is THE colour. When the door opened we quickly set up and there were some shifting around to do. We had to switch booth with the Artistry ladies as they needed the socket. So sweet of some guys to help us carry the table and settling us in. I thought we took a long time to set the table and the arrangement had to be perfect. I brought a box of dried roses, a gift from someone last year and that was the end touch to the table. Imagine lime green table cloth and red roses sprinkled! The roses also had a nice aroma to it so when you are at the Nutrilite booth, you WILL smell the freshness of the brand! Thank God too, for Ke Wei who saw that we were shorthanded and helped us out. After he helped, we decided to give him the Nutrilite leaf bookmark to be pinned. Chop! While setting up, I saw the unity of the team and their family and saw that truly this Britt team is like my extended family. It was purely teamwork and within a short time, everything was ready and done. So here goes my thank you speech, (haha) To all who came with open mind and open hearts, To all who helped us carry things, open the table, explain, To Mdm Twister for brightening up the fair with her talent of twisting balloons, the kids and adults love you!
