Hi people of the world!
My phone is a bit off. As you know, I NEVER turn off my phone, its 24/7 because sometimes the team messages me in the wee hours of the morning. However, recently, a lot of people have not been able to call me, resulting in me getting a lot of caller alerts. Also, I have problems smsing someone back at times and it is really annoying! Therefore, please be patient and bear with me for another week or so, I will definately be changing my phone. Very soon.
I hope you had an enjoyable weekend and you are fully rested and recharge to start off another week. I had a restful Saturday, considering that on Friday, my day only ended at 12.00 am. Yup, 3 taxi rides on Friday alone. I am making all the cab drivers earn their money:p
Anyway, we had Leader's meeting on the product fair, wow so many things to think about and consider. The leaders who had done this before must be really awesome to settle all the things that needed to be settled. Still, it will be a wonderful event and I am looking forward to it!
Friday was also additionally madness due to the PSG meeting. Thank God all went well, even better than expected, I thought. The venue was perfect and it allowed the parents to have feel of what their children feel like being in the room. It also helped them know what their kids learn so I thought it went really well. Even when I only prepared the slides the night before! Muaha! However, I could never have made it as smooth as it was without the help of the special needs team like my 2 dear SNOs, SP aka Sharon and Sharmini, the SNO on attachment.
I think I have to reconsider letting Sharmini do some resources. Looking is not learning, doing is. She has been a wonderful help these 3 days and I was right when I thought she was shocked to see how the P6 boys faired in the lesson. Well, eye opener is my speciality! Haha! She said something that I thought was funny. She mentioned that she wishes she had an SNO (like me, haha) to guide her when she is posted to her actual school. While that is great, what is the SNO there is a siao and not easy to get along? That will be tough right!
Hopefully not!
I was recently not so happy when someone said that I am lucky. I have never believed in luck ok, all good luck and bad luck is the result of one's own effort. Therefore, calling me lucky is as if saying that I did nothing to deserve this. I am a bit insulted, but I shall not take offence as it is not my style. Lucky is, when you found money on the ground, lucky is when you work hard and your great results and turnout is of equal value to your hard work.
So please, do not ever call me lucky.
I was excited and happy to see so many familiar faces (and their babies) and Shuri's wedding today! We got to take some pictures with tbe bride but unfortunately my camera was throwing a tantrum during the pose at the 'pelamin'. So I have no picture of that. I also wanted to take a group pic but Safa went missing after the pose and Nur Aini couldnt find her husband and son. Haha..I have uploaded the pictures at facebook.
In fact I uploaded pictures of the PSG meeting on Friday plus some pictures of me and my boys. I have got to learn how to manage 5 boys in the class. Its a bit noisy!
Thank you Nur Aini and hubby for sending me to eunos and save me a lot of walking time, my shoes were almost killing me! Haha.
To all the people facing challenges, know that you are more powerful than you realise. ;)
