I have suddenly become an expert at catering of food and I accepted the 'honour' of deciding the type of food my colleagues get during staff meetings and trainings. While choosing food from the menu seems fun, the paperwork unfortunately is not. Today I spent my only break doing this paperwork which includes emailing yada yada yada. And it did not help that some people are fickle and was not able to make decisions resulting in me having to make changes and changes with the caterers.
Today was also incredibly hectic that I only manage to reply an sms sent at 9.30 am at 3.45 pm in the cab on my way home. I also spent my lunch break running around confirming orders and leaving my food cold at my workstation.
In the midst of all the madness, I have forgotten to reply emails from psychologists and today yet another email came asking for information. Suddenly I feel like an octopus who is sitting in the information counter.
So thank GOD the weekend is here and the March holidays are almost here! Yay!
I am also determined NOT to fall sick after experiencing a block nose this morning, had trouble waking up. So, keeping close watch on what I eat so that I can maintain this energy that I desperately need.
Breakfast yesterday was left halfway (again doing a million while having meals) and that left my food soggy. I also had NV who came looking for me during breakfast signifying that its time to go up to class. No peaceful meals! Boo.
Looks good before it got all soggy. Haha.
I was on desk duty last night and it was awesome. There were so many people and the queue was really long at one point of time. First Weds of the month are always full of excitement and last night was a total blast! Even though I was so exhausted, I had an energy booster especially during the 2nd part. It was truly awesome to see so many pin breakers and yes, I am counting down to mine too! Before that of course, I must make way for my team mates to be up there first, before I can ever achieve my goals.
I also received my annual bonuses letter from the company for 2008 and it was a GREAT feeling seeing the figures. However, it is still far from my desired goal and this year, that figure will double, triple with explosive growth. Who says this does not work again? Haha!
I was so sleepy today that I had to do something to keep myself awake since coffee was a no no. (sad face) While WJ was doing his sequencing, I took his file and began colouring the pictures. He followed me and did the same and I hate to admit it but I think he can colour the pictures way better than me :p
I think you are never too old to do any colouring ;)
Looking forward to a super exciting Friday especially at PASE! We are doubling and I MUST be alert enough for night owl tomorrow night! Woohoo.
