Yo world,
I just came back from a really power packed training by Altaf and I actually wrote 2 and a half pages of notes. I would have written more if I know what he was talking about since he was speaking from such high level of thinking. I am sure I will understand one day and thankfully looked back at this as one of the most powerful teachings in my life.
I promised to write about BBS on Saturday right? If you have missed this event, you have really missed an opportunity to see the bigger picture! Civil engineer and architect makes such a powerful couple and I was truly amazed by the speech pattern of the lady speaker. She took half the time given to speak and that is truely rare! Its usually the husbands who would take more time to do teachings.
Amazed was how I felt seeing the two of them edify each other and I am sure the ladies who were there would agree that the best gift a husband can give his wife is to edify her like that.
It is baffling to hear their story especially about the part where their parents chose to listen to the astrologer who predicted that the two of them will end up in a divorce if they get together. Apparently, something about their stars not matching is the main cause of this.
Who in the right mind would listen to the astrologer?!!
I still find it unbelievable that in this era of modern technology, some of our parents are still thinking in the past. Truth is, times have changed and we cannot think like they do because we are not in the same time as them. As much as I love my parents (and aunties and uncles), I am not going to take any financial or personal advice from them especially if they did not get to see the bigger picture.
That is how it goes, and as adults, we sometimes need to make decisions based on us and our thinking. A smart decision maker is one who gathers all information from reliable sources before finally making a quality decision.
Nevertheless, decision making is never easy. I feel that most of us were not taught how to think when we were younger and that is why we find decision making so difficult. My only advice is: Follow your heart and listen to your heart in peace. Make a decision in clarity and never in doubt or out of fear.
Deciding to do this business was truly the best decision I have ever made. I thank God, for giving me the clarity to do so.
Anyway I really like the story about the eagle's egg that accidently dropped into the chicken's nest in the context of the britt system. That was simply brilliance.
The lesson that I learnt most from this session is this:
God will not give you success. He will put you in the right environment so you can use it to grow success.
I am so blessed to part of this education system, this awesome britt team and most of all this britt gala team ;)
I only had lunch today so was feeling a little hungry after open meeting. Thank you ladies for the company and while they dug into burgers I decided not to. I only had these two (above). The hot chocolate was enough to not make me feel hungry so thats good.
Before leaving the function, I had a private moment with Eddie and Margaret about the new 'keys'. It was really my good luck that the 2 cds that I so desperately need to listen to, were in his pocket. Without hesitation he took it out and passed them to me! I cannot wait to listen to it and apply it for fast and explosive growth!
Its going to be a really exciting year! I have August as my dateline to go Q12! Wow exciting!!
My goal still remains:
Brand New Silver
2 Eagle legs
May 2009
