I am typing to you from home. Yup, I went to school today to do prompting for partner's dear boy and decided to leave and went straight to the doctor. Mum had initially went early in the morning to take for me a queue number so that this time I do not have to wait 6 hours.
Apparently, I have lousy bone structure and weak knees. Even though I did not fall down and the step back was not that of great of an impact, the fact that its injured reveals that this knee was already weak to begin with. Doctor said there was swelling, even though I insisted that my feet was fat. He also said that there was already friction happening in the other knee and that I should really take care of it.
So I am placed on medication and was advise to stay away from high impact exercises for 1 week. I am having a difficult time embracing this. My schedule was all planned for this week, and I really do not feel like changing it.
But the most heart pain was of course the price of the medication. It was close to $100!!
With that, I am placed on home rest (mc) for today and tomorrow as the doctor insisted that I do not go to work because my job require me to stand and walk a lot. Came home and mum nag and nag about resting. I do not know how to rest. Seriously.
Open meeting was excitement. This week we had our recognition meeting at the Grassroot Club instead of our usual loft. I was so excited to see our lovelines on stage. Its like seeing our family on stage.
They never fail to be so selfless and caring towards the team and me perhaps thats why a piece of my heart felt like it was on stage together with them.
I promise that I will follow you.
Friday was madness. We were scheduled to go to Maya's place at 5 pm and seeing that I had some time in between, I decided to go to BOB class over at Kovan. Upon arrival, I was greeted excitedly by Linda and Sandy in the locker room. Sandy was so tickled that I was part of the banana gang..wahaha.
Class was hyper (as always) and turned out that DD will not be teaching BOB for the next 2 weeks. As I sat down and packed my huge bag properly (I could not zip the bag!!) I was joined by the 2 ladies and soon after even DD joined in the circle. We actually talked until about 5 plus. Did not realise that there were so many stories flying around! Cool.
After that, quickly went to shower and change to go to Maya's place. I am glad I spent 1 hour doing workout because at Maya's place was just a food party. Haha. It is actually the first time we all got together for Hari Raya and it was nice not to rush here and there like how we usually are in school.
Thank you Maya for opening up the lovely house!
After that, rushed over to Margaret's for PASE. The leaders chose to recognise the Ultimate Eagles. Chon and ImNeo called up all Eddie and Margaret's frontliners to come up and say something. I was suprised to be called up and I felt that I was given the reponsibility to speak for all their lovelines. Thankfully I managed to do it all without tearing!! But the fact that I was trying hard not to cry was because I really really love them like family and I am nothing without their love and guidance.
I was so glad I was at PASE that night.
Saturday morning BOB class was as usually full. We have been planning to take the pictures on Thurs but that did not happen so this few poses were really impromptu. How did we get together? Hmm, I think its when we kept bumping into each other in many of M's classes and Thursday nights are always the wild nights. Soooooooooooo I guess people bond when they go crazy together? Haha.
Anyway, I really hope to be well by Thursday so that I can attend the classes. I have also scheduled overviews to show at Dhobby Gout so it will all be along the way.
This week shall be another phenomenal week with my most fired up loveline showing the plan on Wednesday! Woohoo!

I am here to update you on the many happenings of last week!
Last week was the last of Buddy Reading for the year. This year my Buddy Reading Program had so many disruptions with regards to room, mc and meetings. Its no wonder the boys are always blur when to turn up for buddy reading.
This was my group if P3s and some from 3 boys from P4 and P5. This group of boys always know what to do the moment they stepped into the room. They will sit down, get their stamp, choose a book and read. Quietly. I do not have much problems with this group. I will see most of the again next year so thats good to know.
