Earning it.
I just came back from open meeting where I had to stay back a while since I am one of the speakers for tommorrow. The briefing was done by William A and at the start of it, he asked this simple question:
Did you earn the right to speak for tomorrow's team meeting?
As usual, I always do not know how to answer his questions. But its good, its straight forward, direct and it forces me to THINK outside the box.
I will be doing the topic on cardinal rules, even if I had not chosen this topic, the team would probably still give this topic to me. Why? Simple, because of real life experiences. I will be sharing from the heart, from experiences and the lessons I learnt.
Not sure if I can keep within the time limit though. Short time to cover it in depth. We were told to tell the TRUTH, which means that I shall not be the nice person you see and hug at open meeting. I will share the TRUTH and I mean business.
Get ready to be whacked in the most gentle and nice way. Truly my style.
Yesterday DD did a replacement class over in PM and I went. I have been itching to go HiLo since I have been missing Rad's HiLo classes on Saturdays. It was good, I like. When I arrived, DD seemed suprise and asked me ,'Wah so free ah?'.
Not free, need to go burn like now. Need to do toning as well.
Good lah, there is a reason why DD is clear cut my fav instructor, even the NB, which is usually torturous for me was not that annoying. Haha. No pain in my arm leh, hmm next time must upgrade to heavier hand weights.
Had some time after that before I go for overview in the afternoon so spent it with a friend. Actually this friend was the one who ask me to go have lunch, actually a bit suprising to me. The food took sooooooooooo long to arrive so it was really good quality time spent with this friend. This friend is a new friend and I am so blessed to know such a talented person. I am also surprise at the level of comfort with each other, but I guess that just means there is mutual trust in this friendship.
Did a special request and this friend agreed to try. But in afternoon, while I was rushing to go overview, this friend called me up to apologize because this friend cannot abide to my request in time.
I find it funny because it really did not matter to me but my dear friend was so serious that I thought it was really funny. I do not take things to heart, thats just the way I am, whatever comes, let it come.
My overview yesterday was a follow up as well because I started the taprooting process right there during overview!! How awesome is that????!!!!!!!!!!!
Exploding this team big time, we are tripling in numbers!!! Woohooo!
