Its great that I have this few days off before the semester starts next week. I just got the timetable and I am so excited because classes only last until 12.30 pm on Wednesdays! Yahoo! This means that I have enough time to go home and change before meeting starts at 7.30 pm. Although I know that sometimes I may be required to stay back for project works and stuff, but it is still so delightful to know that the day will end early on wednesdays.
Anyway, even though it may seem like I have a lot of free time, I actually have been doing things non stop since tuesday. Its great that I settled the coding problem last night. My room, especially my desk is extremely messy with books and papers all over the place! I need a proper system of filing. Apart from that I should really start packing my things. I am only 3 weeks away from the move and I have not done a single thing. I think I have the most things in the house so I better start packing early before my mum actually throw away all my stuffs.
I was watching Oprah (since I am at home) yesterday and today and I am so hooked! I think Oprah is the most fantastic woman in the world! She does all this wonderful things through her show and people's life become became better thanks to her presence. How many of us can actually say other peoples life became better because of our presence?
Its really too bad she has no children because I think that would be really great. I remember Oprah being played on tv when I was younger and I could not understand why people would be interested to watch a bunch of women talk on tv. It seem so boring and I really didnt get it. But now, after watching it a couple of times, I absolutely love it. The topics covered are so interesting mostly pertaining to women so I really get lots of information via the show. I guess women issues dont change with time?
One of my personal favourites is when she, together with Nate, the gorgeous designer guy who is unfortunately gay, do a complete makeover of peoples houses at a low cost. Call me a freak but I love shows that do house makeovers! Another thing I love about Oprah is that she makes peoples dream come true! Isnt that the best job in the world?
Todays show in particular showcases Oprah selling her clothes off for charity. I mean, the clothes she dont wear anymore. Did you see her closet? Its like a big room of clothes, shoes, bags and accessories! I hope to have my own closet like that too. Hehe. She makes all these effort for charity, its the most noble thing. The charity that she sponsors, Angel Network, must have benefited thousands and thousands of dollars because of her. Its such a joy to see that there are such people in this Earth.
Its so entertaining to watch her and if I can ever do even a small percentage of what she has done, I will die a happy person.
So thats why I have made my decision.
