The Dutch Lady is finally here! Woohoo! I must admit I feel slightly uncomfortable calling her DutchBitch as I am such a nice lady (haha!) She will be revealing some dirty secrets from The Dutch Files so read on.........
Hi! This is DutchBitch from The Dutch Files. Noi asked me to do a guest post to introduce myself to you. Well, I call myself DutchBitch because that pretty much describes me: Dutch and a Bitch... I am secure enough about myself to admit to that, that I am Dutch... really, no problem! I started this blog in May 2006, so not that long ago. I blogged before, then stopped for a while and I started up again with The Dutch Files and I don't think I have missed that many days blogging since. I love it! I re-christened the blog The Dutch Files a while ago, because I felt that the former title (which is now the subtitle) didn't cover the importance of my blog * snort *. I felt that The Dutch Files made it sound more important, more intruiging... * snort again *
I started blogging because well, actually just to have a place to say all the magnificent stuff that is going on in my (sometimes pretty distorted) brain without anyone being bothered about it. To my surprise it is now being read by some regular readers and their numbers are growing. They even seem to like what I blog about and they make me squirt out my Diet Coke thru my nose by their funny comments pretty regularly! In simple terms: I have grown to love blogging and I am very happy to now belong to the ranks of bloggers and have found really great blogging friends in the process. I even got blog-engaged to the wonderful Mr Fab (though he already broke up with me once, but we are good again)!
So, I mean: being able to write down all my thoughts, having people read and like'm being Noi s tenant and Fab s fiance... What more could a Bitch ask for in life? Hmmm? Seriously!
