but I do not know who and where you are........... < ">

You can call me Noi! This blog consists of my thoughts. I am just a simple person with BIG dreams! Like the charcoal, hot pressure and extreme heat must be present in order to create a Diamond. I am in the exact same process.

What do you think of the new layout?? I thought that being a new year and all, I should change the outlook of my blog, its been so overdue. I wanted to keep it light and simple, thus the colours and headers are really simple. I realised that the 'comment' section is disabled but I will keep on trying to bring it back. The html codes are so tricky so it takes lots of time and patience to get it right. Meanwhile you can voice yourself on the tagboard on your left.

So today is the start of 2008. 2007 seem to went by so fast, too fast for me to even catch up on what is happening. I was looking back at my blog entries on the last day of 2006, 2005 and even 2004. I have been blogging since 2004. In fact, my first enrty was on 9 July 2004. I was not orignally here. My online journal back then was at Xanga. It was ok except my readers had to register as members before they can comment on each entry. It was troublesome but still there were some who did it. Thank you. That was really an honour to me.

I moved to Blogger in 2006, as you can see from my archives. I wanted to move all my writings from xanga to blogger. I did begin, but I did not finish it. There were too many entries and I did not have the time to move everything here. Thus, I left my old blog available for view. You can view it here. I thought my blog's overall design was so beautiful, it was only after I moved here that I realised, what bad taste I had. Haha! Probably some of you, who have been reading my blog since 2004 can vouch for that!

Throughout the years, there were some readers / bloggers who did follow my move. They changed their links to my blog and continue to be faithful readers. Sometimes I think that my writings are my own ramblings and it can be boring. There are also readers who are non bloggers. Some of them just enjoy reading others blog but claimed that they are not so good with the words therefore they find writing / blogging difficult. I can understand that, I am glad that I can write, I can always recapture the different moments of my life by visiting the archives. Of course I did not write ALL the things that happened to me. There were too many happenings and because of time constraints and all the other nitty gritty restrictions, writing what impacted me the most is still my tradition.

Through blogging too, I got to know some interesting individuals. I have been reading some of their blogs since they were single, and now they are already married with babies. There is also this person who was almost a nobody when I knew him, but now, he has fans from all over the world! He became so famous that he is on the blogradio every week, in US time of course. There are also others, whom was a little more low profile, who only chooses to write his likes and dislikes. In fact, we got to know each other when there was an uproar in Denmark about the Muhammad SAW drawings, but this guy, being from Denmark and even after knowing that I was a Muslimah with the headscarf, chose to continue the online friendship.

Of course there are my other real friends who are reading this. Perhaps I seem different when I interact with you outside. Perhaps you wonder, if I am the one writing all these. I seem so blur, so serious, so crazy, so quiet, so different, than the person writing these words. There are some who left a word or two after reading, and then there are others who chooses to remain silent. I wonder, what keeps you coming back here? Is it the writings, the happenings, or is it me?

The tradition of writing the 'Best and Worst Moments' of the year will not happen this year. This year has been filled with so many accomplishments and little successes that I shall rename this tradition as 'Best Moments of 2007'. There are not many, but impactful and meaningful enough to me to keep it as beautiful memories of yesterday.

Best Moments of 2007
- New handphone, ok I dont know what model it is, but it can slide! My parents chipped in to pay for this as a birthday present. They insisted that my old phone was embarassing:p

- FED 2007 at Cheras. This FED was the most awesome FED in all the FEDs that I have attended!

- Naf and Fir breaking new pins (double pin jump) happening twice this year. I am sooo proud of you.

- Nurul getting selected to be SNO! Yay!! Can you imagine if she had left last year, the same time as me? We would have been classmates!

- Graduation at NIE where I see all my dear SNOmates

- Graduation at DAS, being shocked after being chosen to be one of the speakers

- Being invited to speak at Leevan's lesson, and then being invited again by Mrs Toh to sit in a panel

- Getting a call from PSB asking me to join the CPD team as a result of getting the highest humber of votes (from who??!!)

- Having Cherry attached in my school and being able to share part of my journey with her!

- Teachers Day. My students are lovely, even the naughtiest ones showed me their appreciation.

- Finally getting a classroom. Duh.

Of course there are some bad moments but I shall not write it here, I do not want you to be depressed after reading my blog. Haha!

So this year, I know will be an even more awesome year than 2007. I know that because in December 2007, my business volume went an all time highest in the last 5 years that I have been doing business. This is a great start to the year!

Happy new year, may this year keeps getting better and better!
