you're the one for me >>
but I do not know who and where you are........... < ">

You can call me Noi! This blog consists of my thoughts. I am just a simple person with BIG dreams! Like the charcoal, hot pressure and extreme heat must be present in order to create a Diamond. I am in the exact same process.

You can change.

You Can Change Your Life

You've probably already improved your life a great deal, and you're no stranger to change.
You're able to make very difficult changes in your life. It's all about state of mind.
And even if you have some trouble changing, you're smart enough to get support or take a different approach.
So go ahead and dare to make things better. You know you can do it!

I did not do this test for me. I did it for you. Yes you! Reading this right now. The past week, I had the opportunities to meet some individuals who are going through some challenges. Most were pretty ok with it, they have accepted it. However what saddens me is that they somehow had the mentality that they should perservere and hope for the best. While there is nothing wrong with that, they fail to realise that in any kind of situation, there is always a solution. There will always be opportunities for you to take, its just that most people are so blinded by challenges to even see the solution right in front of them.

So go on and take the test. I have always believe we have 2 choices- in any situation. If something bad were to happen to you, you can choose to complain, or you can choose to move on and improve yourself. This is what I teach my students as well. I tell them that either they choose to behave and learn better, or they can choose to fool around and waste their time. It does not even matter that they have Dyslexia, they can choose to be upset about it, or they can put in the extra effort so that they can perform well. Its all a matter of choices.

So today I spent the whole day sleeping. Almost the whole day. The flu bug has returned to me and even though there is no fever, the runny nose is not really presentable when I am doing stp right? I have so much to write about and since my brother is watching soccer, I might as well take advantage of the time I have in front of the computer.

It is only the 3rd week of school and I am officially exhausted. If only exhaustion = weight loss, that would have been great! But still, despite having so many things to do and not able to find the time to do it, I think I did enjoy my lessons this week. It was also great to see the enthusiasm from both parents and students to come to my classes even though I think I am becoming stricter this year. I actually slammed some books on the table and raised my voice to Navin and Kenji this week for being so noisy and not behaving. There is no excuse for bad behaviour, it interferes in learning so I always tell them that if they cannot learn to behave, they will not be able to learn anything else.

Let me talk about Kumar's session! It was too awesome, if you missed it, happy waiting another 5 or even 10 years! Haha! It was so phenomenal because he is the creator of the many jokes we use. So everything was familiar, except that we see it live, so it was really hilarious at times. I am glad we got quite the front seats. The biggest lesson I got was about treating our dreams like a baby. I think I have neglected my 'baby' for a while now, it does effect the whole thought process! I think I need to revisit my dreams more often. Its always great to see my mentor's mentor and being there was simply priceless.

What was even more exciting was that we qualified to attend the night owl! Yay! It was also great to attend night owl with someone from my own team, I have been attending the night owls and leaders sessions alone all these time. Congratulations team, I am sure with all these special sessions, we will be an even bigger team.

I also learn that I should not keep stating the problem. Stop speaking all these rubbish and I really really have to monitor my speech pattern. What was beyond excitement was to know that Kumar is in the midst of producing a movie. Wow right? This guy does almost everything! After all the description he said about the production and all that, he still state that this business is the best, no headache, no driving around running this and that. It was really funny and I am glad I was awake enough to listen and learn. Of course after that I was awake until 4 am:p

Last night's PASE was different. We had a leaders inner circle meeting. It was good. Fir was right. Missing this would be unimaginable. I actually had the thoughts to not go for PASE as I was busy catching my runny nose and sneezing away like there was no tomorrow. I went anyway. I hope no one catches my germs ok. Please increase your dosage of supplements especially the anti oxidants. I think we all have to grow, we are being mentored by Diamonds. It would be embarassing if we dont grow.

Eddie also mentioned that we are the most diversified team in whole of BWW Singapore. We have people from all races, religion and background in the team. We, by right should be the largest team. We have to, we will, this 2008.

There might be possibilities that Kankan and Samina will be in Singapore earlier this year, most probably for the Spring Leadership in February. They will be moving next week and you know when they move, its to a bigger home. You can watch the video here.

I am just going to fffffffffffffinish it off! Woohoo.

Success is not the absence of challenges. It is the overcoming of challenges.
