You can call me Noi! This blog consists of my thoughts. I am just a simple person with BIG dreams! Like the charcoal, hot pressure and extreme heat must be present in order to create a Diamond. I am in the exact same process.

This year
You Had a Fantastic Year! | Compared to most years, last year was definitely great. Overall, you're living a much better life than you were twelve months ago. And nothing is a better mark of a good year. Here's to hoping next year is even better!
|
Good day to all! I am writing to you from my classroom where I am almost bored to death. I think I was busier during the school holidays. Haha! Why, you may ask. Ok, firstly I cannot have any lessons until all the teachers submit their timetable to me. Even so, I still need to send out all the consent forms out and have them returned to me before I can take them out for withdrawals. I am also in the midst of chasing my dear EP, parents and DAS for reports. I referred a whole lot of them for assessment and until they come back to me with a report confirming my suspicions, I am unable to take the child out for witdhrawal sessions.
I am also having a big challenge planning the timtable! Let's see, I have 16 confirmed cases this year and 5 pending cases. Thus the report chasing continues. And out of the 16 boys, only 5 boys did not drop their MT. The rest did and I am at a wits end trying to squeeze in lessons with everybody in the short 8 hours that I have in school. Who says single sessions are better?
Because of the high numbers too, I will not be doing in class support this year. I will be doing differentiated worksheets still and that will be my intervention for the in class support. Plus, these list is excluding the current P1s! Imagine if any P1 students were to be diagnosed by June, I will really have a challenge planning the timetable.
Anyway, I was thinking of ways for me to leverage my presence here so I thought of creating stations like the Reading Zone and the IT Zone for the child to work by himself. Its call time compounding, something very valueable I learnt from the business.
Last night was incredible! As an upline watching their 'babies' on stage, its a proud moment you know. It was an exciting night and Naf and Fir both were the highest pin breakers in the team for December. Awesome, keep up the great work. I was so annoyed when my camera went flat during the pinning! Argh..so silly! I only managed to capture about 3 pictures before the camera died so now I have to go bug Ender to pass me some photos! I think he wouldnt mind! Haha!
I was not planning to call Samina last night but after Eddie's announcement about the $1700 bonus, I thought, why not? So I called Samina and before I could tell her who I was she already said, "Yes Afni, how can I help you?" Wow, she could recognise my voice.
Of course after the call, again was not able to sleep. It could be due to the cappucino that we had that was making me awake. But I thought it was an opportunity to pack up my bag and pack my lunch so that it will not be too rushing today. I am sleepy, thank goodness I am not having any sessions today, I could practically doze off anywhere.
Ok, I think I better go get some coffee before my meeting later!
"Why run quickly when you can fly?"
