You can call me Noi! This blog consists of my thoughts. I am just a simple person with BIG dreams! Like the charcoal, hot pressure and extreme heat must be present in order to create a Diamond. I am in the exact same process.

Bonding and new discoveries
When SP and me were approached to participate in this camp, we were not the happiest people. You know, after the camp, I think we both feel quite differently. It was really tiring but enjoyable but mostly, the most exciting part was to see the boys in a whole different light.
First day was a bit boring. I was expecting to be with the boys all the time but the instructors were so damn good that we realised we did not be around all the time. As a result of that, we had a lot of free time talking, eating (non stop!) and simply enjoying the breeze. I have always love the beach and to be near the beach is one of my retirement plans!
2nd day was a lot of more exciting with all the obstacles. I do not know why but I thought the teachers would get to do it too! Haha. Unfortunately there was not enough time so none of the teachers got to try anything. I really would like to try the flying fox thingy, it look so fun.
Elroy was clearly the star of the entire camp, winning the hearts of everyone, especially the instructors who seemed to grow fond of him. Because of that, him and Adriel are the only 2 boys who got to do ALL the obstacles! I also got to spend some time with Elroy while he reads and I am just so amazed that he can tell me all the facts about what he is reading. I realised the longer I sit next to him, the more I feel stupid because he was telling me all the facts that I have no clue of!Haha.
I am just so proud of our SN boys because not only they did well in overcoming the obstacles, there were pretty independent and hardly need my help at all. I was mostly with Azriel on the first day who was crying because he was homesick. I somehow feel that the instructors are not too big on crying boys. Haha. This one particular instructor (Siti's favourite) seem lost on what to do when Azriel started crying during the walk. I came over and he seemed relieved to be away from all the crying..haha.
Oh yes, the long walk would have been so much more fun if it was in peace and not us trying to keep the boys to their left! :p
Thank God for lovely colleagues, we somehow did not manage to take a group picture as we were all over the place most of the time. The only time we got to sit together was during all the makan time when we were all too busy eating to talk any pictures :p
I was pleasantly suprised with the visits by other colleagues to the camp, bringing food for the team. I especially liked the durian puff and was licking away, hmmm must have looked really terrible then.
My awesome colleagues also taught me how to play cards and even though I did not fully understand how to play, I think I did pretty well.
And even with the plane flying over a few times in every 10 minutes, I thought the whole camp was enjoyable. I especially like that I got to see the beautiful moon and so many stars at night! It was a beautiful sight, one that I would remember for a really long time!
SP, I think our names will be in the P5 camp next year too! Hmm, will the cute instructors be around again, you think?
*All pictures from SP's camera. Thanks!!
