I had a really exciting phone meeting last night and even though we started a bit later than supposed to, I thought we had one of the most fruitful sessions! Anyway, I believe its because of the good relationship that B has with his friends. Do you realise that your friend speaks a lot about you? Usually the nice guys hangs out with people just as nice. They may not have the same personality but that is the result of association. They became alike in the way they think. In this case, a positive way of thinking. So congrats B, I have always known that this person is so accountable and I am so thankful our paths crossed.
I am suppose to be out tonight to meet D, one of B's friends. At around 6 pm just now, while I was waiting for SP to make up her mind about what to buy (at Dorothy Perkins of course :p), I read an sms from D saying that he had to do a last minute OT and was not able to escape. I read that message at about 6.20 pm, but the message actually came in at 6.10 pm. While typing my sms back to him, D called and informed me the same news that the sms carried. I was suprised because the majority of people who postpone or cancel appointments will do it via sms. Not this person. He called to make sure I got the message and sounded really apologetic. He was also the one who initiated the meet up to be next week.
Wow, so accountable and just by this incident, I gained respect for this person who is a total stranger to me. Driving depth has never been so simple and fun!
Somehow, this incident made me realise that people who are accountable are a dying breed and I am so glad that this person despite being young, was able to show sincerity by being accountable.
Bestie and me definitely will be looking forward to next week, that is for sure.
As you can see, I am not a big fan of people canceling appointments via sms. Sms should be used to deliver short message so important messages should never be delivered via sms. Its basic courtesy, isn't it?
Trying very hard to make sure food intake remains healthy despite being so busy on Monday and Tuesday.
Yesterday's lunch..........
Had level bonding makan session at Carousel today so I am super full. I shall post the pics up soon! Anyway, I have set my mind to get THIS done and this time I shall not let any distractions get in my way. I am also very excited and happy that bestie decided to join me in this journey.
This year looks like its getting better and better despite being busier and busier.
Healthy mind, healthy body to work towards a wealthy future, insyaAllah.
