You can call me Noi! This blog consists of my thoughts. I am just a simple person with BIG dreams! Like the charcoal, hot pressure and extreme heat must be present in order to create a Diamond. I am in the exact same process.

Just dance / Friday, August 14, 2009 @ 12:35 AM
Just dance
I had a really hectic day today with my day starting as early as 7 am for the Buddy Reading. Then lessons went on and on until 10.30 am when I was supposed to have my break but I was frantically trying to get some things done and photocopy some worksheets that ran out. I had a meeting at 11 am with some JC students who wanted to do a programme for the kids so I had to meet them to ensure that they are clear of my expectations. It was good and short but when we were done I was only left with 10 minutes so I was not able to have my lunch even though I was starving!
The day went on and on that by the time my last class was over, I was exhausted. I am missing my double x today, I must have left my tablet box in my gym bag and I ended up taking the cab home.
Had some time to rest. I was actually contemplating whether to go to Tampines outlet instead for the HiLo class at 6.30 but in the end I decided to go to Parkmall outlet. That was not before I squeezed in some time to make calls to some of my team mates informing them of the exciting coverdish happening this Sunday. I spoke to both Eddie and Margaret on the phone and I cannot help but feel so thankful and indebted to them for having to do this. Please understand that they have no financial interest in my business at all but the sacrifices and time that they have made for us is beyond what I can describe.
I cannot imagine doing this business without them.
Anyway, very exciting line up, as we are experiencing explosive growth, we had to have this, it was difficult teaching one by one. So on Sunday we shall get together on a more informal mode, but at the same time we will be learning. Thats the core value here. Never every missed an opportunity to learn.
I thought I was going to be late for CL class at Parkmall but I ended up arriving nicely at 7.10 pm. Talked to some girls and realised that I was not the only one with the knee injury. The CL routine was same as last week and again somehow, no one wanted to stand at the front except the regulars. I ended up standing right in front of the mirror on the left side of stage which is good to see me but a little bit far to see the instructor. CL was ok but HH was exciting.
As usual Mark will always make us all work together with partners. Right after the warm up, this lady (whom I see her everywhere Mark is:p) stretched out her hand to me and said something I could not hear. Upon getting closer to her this is what I heard ,"Partner."
She wanted me to be her partner?!
And throughout the entire class she actually guided me really well and kept asking me to relax. I was nervous because of her not because I did not know the steps hahaha. Nevertheless, she is actually really good, and was quick to compliment that I can turn 360 degrees smoothly. In fact, she was even showing me the routine before Mark actually teaches it. So weird and scary right? Haha.
Not bad for a psycho.
Anyway, as usual Mark will make us move around and change partners. There are a few crazy people in the class who shall continue to be the clown and make everybody laugh. When changing partners and my psycho partner went away, guess who my next partner was?
The instructor himself!
Today was actually more of a latin hip hop class so can you imagine I was the person he used to show example?!
I was like, aiya, how leh? In the end I decided to just go along lah, I played the 'boy' part and at one point after 'rolling' into my arms (its more clownish than sexy hahaaha) he turned to me and said "You dont want to touch me is it?" Erm no please :p
I was thinking, just dance.
I said: "Ok I shall push you a little when you are 'rolling' out." (Since he wanted graceful :p) And I did. And he almost fell. It was so funny that everyone was laughing when he turned around and said "Are you mad at me or something? She (pointing at me) pushed me so hard!" Hahaha, hilarious.
Seriously, the laughter was unstoppable until the end of the class and each time we had to be partnered he would give me a 'scared' sign in case I hurt him. Wahahaha...so funny.
Even though I was partnered with psycho and the instructor, the class was enjoyable and I believe its the little insanity that each of us brought inside. Of course I went up to Mark to make sure he was ok, not hurt hahah, and he was cool with it. This is actually one of the more enjoyable classes that I have ever attended. Its no wonder people are following him around for classes.
Too bad bestie was not there but I am sure I am 'chop' as the agressive girl in HH class next week! Wahahaha! Will see him again on Saturday for BOB and BEB class!
So what started as an exhausting day thankfully ended in laughter. My night was made brighter when I was welcomed home by Totti running up to me! So adorable!! Friday yay yay yay! PASE tomorrow along with follow ups to do!
To all my dear team mates, be here!
