Ok, I am writing this in between classes. I wanted to blog last night but was being nagged by mum to go to sleep. Can you believe that at this age, I am still being nagged at?
Anyway, these few days was filled with so much excitement and laughter. I am loving every minute of my life right now. Seriously.
I got to spend some time with bestie eating sinful food after team meeting on Saturday. Really sinful food. Havent done that in a while so it was really lovely.
Sunday's phone meeting was a blast. I am beginning to understand my team mates a little bit better. After all these years of trial and error, the only thing that keeps people together is the relationship that they created with each other. That will, in return create a bond that will hard to break, even when motivation is lost and hope is nowhere to be found.
My Mondays are no longer blue as I always come to work looking forward to jazz and kb in the afternoon. Thank God of Vivi, if not I will be teaching away on Monday afternoons. Even though my timetable is still not finalise, I hope to keep Monday afternoons free of classes.
Jazz is always so enjoyable even though I must admit I am not the 'ballet' type. I think DD really listens to what I am saying because I remembered mentioning to him that contemporary jazz is so much more do-able for me and after that feedback, every song has been contemporary. The crowd is also filled with familiar faces and thats why I always look forward to Monday afternoons. Of course, following that is KB by the KB queen which is also my first love.
Tuesdays. Aha. Nowadays I attend CB at 5.30 pm over in T1 provided that I do not have any appointments. Last week DD announce that he was going to this korean song, a bit slow and not the usual catchy songs that he usually use for MTV. It was ok to me to try something new so I really had no complaints.
However he was indecisive whether to go ahead with it on Sunday and he thought of doing '3' by Britney Spears. When he said that Ju and me got excited and Ju mentioned it was one of my favourite songs. However we did not want to stress him out since he has not planned anything yet but I think its just his nature to be sweet and do people's request.
In fact right before CB, he was still indecisive whether to do '3'. He actually went in to do the routine right at that moment after CB and before SF-- in 15 minutes! Can you believe him?!
Anyway, Ju and me were so touched, we have officially become his fans hahaha. Unfortunately the news came late and we were not able to activate the rest of the bananas, who were all back at their regular Tuesday classes. We shall be back next week in full force..ok minus the married ones.
I think on the whole I have been quite blessed with good and talented instructors which really make it so much easier for me to continue on this weight loss journey. Ju and me actually tried a new instructor's class on Friday, and it was simply atrocious. It was then on that we realise, that our regular instructors are really good and really talented and that made us appreciate them so much more. In fact I never recalled any time that I did not enjoy DD's and Ed's class.
The second half of this week will be packed with overviews and follow ups and of course looking forward to BBS on Saturday! In between appointments, I am working out, I really squeeze all my time with many things so as to make FULL use of my time.
While I know that everything in the business will happen in its own time, my promise to my mentors are always in my mind and I will make it happen.
Looking forward to a more exciting rest of the week!
