This week's special guest here at Voicing My Thoughts is Winsome Gunning Art. This blog is definitely different from all the other blogs that I have ever seen. The blogger, or should I say the artist is a painter and she has pictures of her paintings on her blog. The picture on your right is one of her beautiful works. Every post is accompanied by a painting and an expression of the painting. Her expressions are deep and sometimes I find myself reading the same sentence twice to really understand what is written.
Her post tittled 'ThatQuiet Place' completely blew me away and I find myself going back into the archives wanting to read more and more of her. All post and paintings showcase the amazing thought process that the artist has and if you really read carefully, you will find yourself thinking about your own life and relating to what is written.
Apart from that, she also has her own webpage showcasing some of her earlier works. Her works are on Ebay and you can purchase them here.
Sometimes she also has some exercise going on. There is a Drawing Exercise step by step guide and my favourite one is the post on 'The Real You Collage'. Coincidently when I read this post, I had just finished doing my own collage at work as an example for the students. Here is my final product.

Ok dont laugh at me too hard. It was pretty last minute and unplanned so some of the things I really like are not even in this collage. Anyway, my lovely renter mentions that art is all about expression and what is more important is the process, not the product.
