Ok, I just spend the last hour trying to get the connection right. The server is so slow tonight, and I keep getting disconnnected. Its so annoying especially when I want to get things done fast.
I have chosen new renter for this week! Its Scooter from Scooter McGavin's 9th Green. Like I have mentioned before, I only accept bids that have bidded several times before. And Scooter here, as far as I can remember has made a bid everytime my blog is up for rent. I think he deserves to have his turn now. I shall be writing an intro post for him tommorrow so that will give me some time to read through his blog. Meanwhile pop over there to find out which rapper wins a Grammy.
Last nights' PASE was awesome! The house was so full, people were standing outside. Its like a party. Haha. Anyway I get to sit in front this time as I was there slightly early. It touches my heart when I see a whole family doing the business. Father, Mother, Daughter. That was exactly how I felt seeing Dorothy and Larry. I can just imagine the whole house having the same goals and all working towards common goals. Its my dream and I hope to see it happen for my future family.
I just finished 2 books in the last 4 days! I think I broke my own record of finishing a book in 3 days. I spend most of the time reading, not at home but at work! This week, we had a lot of waiting time and free periods and I really hate sitting around doing nothing. I would rather be busy. So I brought my book to work and everytime there is a free period and no discussions, I would just sit at my desk and read. The first book that I completed is Questions Are Answers by Alan Pease. Awesome awesome awesome book! No wonder the Diamonds recommended it! The second book was recommended by Nurul. Paul Coelho's The Alchemist. There is something addictive about the book. I can't put the book down, as I read further, there seems to be magic unfolding in front of my eyes. The words and thoughts of the author is so out-of-this-world that I am so blown away by the beauty of how the story is written.
I shall touch on one thing about the book.
'Everyone on Earth has a treasure that awaits him'.
I truly believe this. The book mentions about talking to your heart to know what your treasure in life is. It talks about dreams and the power of you following it. Without a dream, your soul inside is slowly dying and you will lose your heart. Sad but true, there are so many people out there who do not follow their dreams due to fear. Fear of failure. But isnt the fear of failure worse than failure itself?
I cannot understand how anyone can work for their whole lifetime for someone else's dream to come true but not theirs. Everyone deserve to have their dreams come true, one way or another. When you dont have a a dream or at least the desire to accomplish a small dream, what meaning is there to life? What is there to look forward to? The future will just be a time to grow old and die.
I also cannot understand how anyone can do the same thing over and over again and NOT see any light at the end of the tunnel. Isnt that sad? When you cant see any light? Life becomes a chore, you get tired easily, not because of your physical state of mind, but because the soul in you is dying.
After you are done reading this entry of mine, take some time to identify your dreams. It can be as simple as wanting to spend more time with your kids or it can be not wanting to worry about money issues. Dreams are more than what we read about in books or watch on tv. A dream exist inside each of you for you to make it come true. Listen harder, you may just hear it.
And when that happens, maybe you can see the signs and opportunity that is right in front of your eyes.
