Believing in your own words. / Friday, February 08, 2008 @ 2:27 PM
Believing in your own words I just finished watching a movie called Stardust and I loved it! Now I know why Nurul kept babbling about this movie. Haha! I was having difficulty following the beginning of the show since its all magical and some things just do not make sense, but halfway it was so exciting. Love it and yes I love the ending too! Its the chinese new year and we are having 2 days public holiday. Yay! This means that this weekend is 4 days long and who does not love holidays right? Yesterday the family and me went to East Coast for picnic. Well, a picnic in our family means that an eat-all-you-can fiesta. Haha! Actually I was not sure whether I was going since I had a follow up appointment on the same day and knowing me, I will never cancel out on an appointment for leisure. But the appointment was short and sweet and I was able to make it on time. Yay! While everyone was busy dusting away the sand from the mat, my brother and me went to rent a bike that cost me $10! Actually my bike cost $5? The last time I rented a bike, it only cost $2! It must be donkey years ago. Gosh. Anyway, it was so fun, I forgot how much I love cycling and it a such a good reminder to me about how out of shape I was. What was not so nice about it, was the sun (duh, thank goodness for sunscreen), and the fact that there were so many people! I dont's really like going there during CNY because it is always so crowded. Oh, well , nevertheless I met some familiar faces there and it is nice and dangerous when you are trying to have a conversation with someone who is also riding a bike next to you. I actually knocked into a small boy, who changed lanes without turning behind or giving any signal. Anyway, I am not a big fan of family gatherings, not anymore since some of my cousins grow up and became such big mouths. A lot of times, I am not bothered by people's words but this girl is so particularly rude and I just cannot stand rude children with no manners. Seriously. Isnt it funny how some people think they have accomplished something when they get to buy some items, nowhere near their budget previously? This particular cousin of mine is like that, and the fact that she is really young and behaving like that still turns me off. What happen to children and good manners? You know the saying 'All good things must end.'? Who ever created that saying?! I have always believed, like the poster below state, everything will be ok (good) in the end, if it is not, then it is not the end. This also means that before one can reap the goodness, one must go through the badness in every situation. It is the law of sow and reap and it does not change. Unfortunately, many people I see, sadly do not trust themselves enough to go through the change and inconveniences. That is the same reason why they will remain average, surrounded by mediocrity. The good news is, I think I am improving in choosing who I share the plan with. I believe the quality of people I approached now is way better than back then and my dear mentors are right, once the quality of people improved, so will the business. This year is an exciting year for me and team mates. I know it. You know how we are always worried about things not happening? I used to think like that and even though how much I tell myself that it will happen, sometimes my mind refuse to believe it and things do not happen. This time, I shall believe it. And I believe that it will happen this year! So say it right and believe it, our words are like our prayers, speak what you want specificly. I hope you will believe in your words too;) Have an enjoyable, happy and restful long weekend. Poster from: www.art.com |
