I keep reminding myself that I am healthy. There is soooooooooooo much to be done at work and in business that I simply cannot afford to fall sick at this time. See this cute cartoon? It is to remind me that I am strong and healthy, and that I am totally fired up! Yes, I am sooo fired up with the happenings of the past few days that I think I have a slight temperature running. Fortunately, I popped into my mouth all the supplements that I could find before it got any worse. Yes, imagine driving and running a fever, great combination!
Anyway SP is also coughing and has a sexy voice so I hope the germs will not be attracted to me. I cannot remember the last time I was sick, simply because I told my mind I AM NOT FALLING SICK. Self talk, yes, we do that a lot at work and yes it worked big time.
You must congratulate me ok, I had my driving lesson yesterday and the engine did not die on me at all! Yay! Accomplishment! I think my be thinking "This girl has no fear, I must make sure she is a safe driver before I let her take the test!" Haha..I was so impatient (yes in good times) that I actually cut the lane of this really slow car who could not make up his mind where to go...haha..also I didnt give way to another car when he wanted to enter my lane. I know. Woohoo. Where do I learn all this? From the 'wonderful' drivers around me!
Anyway this week is a super busy and madness week. I just realised that I need to finish doing the learning reviews for all the boys by Friday and I have only 12 boys done! Another 12 boys to go. I also have a long list of boys to screen and it is most likely I have to cancel classes with a lot of the boys. Oh well, they will be unhappy but I dont really have a choice.
Today I stumbled upon a newspaper article about death and the header reads "What are you leaving behind?" As you know, I do not read newspaper at all, simply because of the negative news that I refused to let them infect my mind with. But this was interesthing because in this recession where most people could see no light at the end of the tunnel, the author of the article talks about thinking through what we can leave behind in case we leave this world sooner than we expect.
Of course most of you will say, memories etc but for me the best thing you can leave behind is a legacy. What is a legacy you may ask? A legacy is a stamp of peace of mind for your children, grandchildren and even great grandchildren because you left them enough money, enough for them not to worry about it. Isnt that truly the best gift?
I must commend my new team mate, Diy who is now the most fired lady in the team! Isnt it amazing how sometimes things just fall into places? Of course prior to this, it was a mess, things do not go according to plan, this and that and it did shook me a little, but it didnt shook my faith at all. I can look back, and break into tears for the all the things I went through but these are not tears of sadness. Neither are they tears of anger. These are tears of faith. Thank you Ya Allah for keeping me on course and in the right direction, in the association of people who were always there to remind me that there are greater things to come for me.
This is only the beginning and I will most definitely be leaving................a legacy.
