You can call me Noi! This blog consists of my thoughts. I am just a simple person with BIG dreams! Like the charcoal, hot pressure and extreme heat must be present in order to create a Diamond. I am in the exact same process.

2nd chances

You know, I cannot help but think that the weekend was too short--every Sunday! This weekend was fruitful but I did not manage to have any 'me' time at all so I am quite bummed about that. But thats ok because I am in the process of delaying gratification, so that I may enjoy it more in the future.

Saturday's NB class was not as exhausting but I really think my arms are not that strong. My back and shoulder blades are still aching after Friday's intense KB class so I knew that it will not be easy for me in NB. This time, I chose to stand near the mirror so I can see myself, the instructor can see me too. Apparently I have been doing my squats wrongly and it could lead to a knee injury so I was glad that the instructor corrected me.

Nevertheless, no matter how exhausting it feels like after each class, it did not diminish the feel good factor. I shall continue to feel proud of myself for being disciplined.

Spent some time to relax and recover by catching a movie! Hmm, what other entertainment are there in Singapore right? As you know, I am a comedy movie girl so obviously I had to see this right?

Oh, of course it helps that Zac Efron is so pleasant looking.

This story was interesting because its about man, at 37 who felt that his life would have been better and different if he had done the things he did not. I really wonder why the character (Matthew Perry) took 20 years to reflect on his life. I think reflection should be done on a daily, if not, weekly basis so that we are constantly concious and aware of what we are doing in our lives. You do not want to be sooo busy and suddenly you are 20 years older and somehow you seem to have forgotten your dreams.

Anyway, this movie was so funny, I really like it! Ned (Zac's best friend in the movie) was so super hilarious that tickled everyone each time he appears in a scene. Surprisingly, I thought Zac brought the main character out really well. He is a good actor, thank God, no breaking out into a song in the middle of the movie. Haha.

I thought the whole moral of the story is that no matter how life's situation sucked, there will always be a second chance. There is this tagline from the movie that I really like:

When you are young, every bad situation seems to feel like its the end of the world. Well, its not.

I have always thought that I would be the composed teenager but looking back, I most certainly was not. My teenage years were close to hell, so I am so glad that my adulthood is soooooooooooo much better.

I am loving life now, for the first time in a long time, I am crystal clear on what I want, why I want it.

Bumped into a filming set at Raffles Place today on the way to Maulana. Guess who I saw? Elvin Ng! Wow, he looks so much better outside than on tv. Bestie and me wanted to grab a shot with him but even after we were done with prayers, they were still filming and we had to rush to BBS, so there goes my chance to take a photo with a hunk ;)

BBS today was awesome but I really do not know why I was so sleepy. I did not get my beauty sleep this weekend ;( The speaker mentioned about being happy and reminded us to enjoy the journey. I will most certainly take his advice!

Going to CL class tomorrow! Yay! Have a phenomenal week!
