I am loving the holidays! I have never had such a long break in the 4, almost going to be 5 working years in my life. I dont know about you but working life is tiring and I cant understand why people want to put themselves in this position for the rest of their life. I know what you are going to say. You have no choice but to work and earn a living right? But the reality is that there are so many people who are not working but at the same time they have their income coming in every month. These are the people with businesses.
Maybe you have not notice these people yet but I would advice you to open your eyes and ears a little more. Do you notice that:
1. There are people shopping and having a nice breakfast on a Monday morning where the rest of the population are dragging themselves to work?
2. There are people whose cars are still at the carpark at their homes when it is office hours?
3. There are people who go into a branded shop like Elle and Burberry and buy the things they like, not buy the things they can afford?
Think about it. There are smarter ways of earning money than trading time for money.
Wednesdays Open Meeting was awesome since its Eddie showing the plan. Woohoo. He mentioned this:
If you want to change your life, change your thinking first.
I must admit that to change our thinking will not be easy. Most of us have the broke mentality and that is the main reason why we are always broke. Your thinking is mainly determined by these:
- what you read
- who / what you listen to
- who you associate with
A few years ago, a friend had this tremendous believe in me to do something out of the ordinary. She believed that I could have a big business. At that time I was just working for 1 year and yes you can call me naive. I did not know what was to come and I have forgotten what my dreams were. Therefore I was just going to work and coming home and doing all the usual things that young people do. It was only after this friend exposed me to this opportunity that I realize that, life should not revolve around work.
It is because of her confidence and belief that I am the person I am today. My journey consists of people, to me like angles who had always help kept me straight and focus. I would be lost without their presence. Now more than ever, I need to ignore all the distractions around me and focus. Thank you my dear angels for helping me get through all my challenges that exist in my process of becoming.
This has been the biggest blessing in my whole life and I just cannot imagine my life without it.
