Yesterday was a hectic day. I left for school early because I wanted to go to the library to test if I can get online via my laptop. Since it was the last time I am going to NIE, even though I had meeting at night, I had no choice but to carry my heavy laptop to school along with all the other things in my bag like books, shoes, prayer kit, make up bag etc. It was super heavy that before I left the house, my mum asked if I was going to school or going overseas. I went to school in slippers and I am pretty sure that made me looked like a total dork but my pointy shoes that I was going to wear at night for meeting was too nice to be used climbing the stairs in NIE, thus the heavy bag on one shoulder and not walking straight.
I was not able to go online so that just confirms that there is something wrong with my lancard and I gotta go and get a new one. Bummer.
It was nice to meet the gang after so long. We had lunch at the canteen and I was eating the prata I was craving for weeks. In fact that was the only meal of the day for me as I had to rush of to town for a session with Naf. There was some miscommunication with Najib and I do not even know why I did not anticipate it since he was blur and I am blur so I guess things got mixed up. Nevertheless, I got the things that needed to be done so yay!
So I took cab from Boon Lay to town at peak hours and it cost me $17! Gosh. I did not want to keep dear Naf waiting because I think making people wait is rude. I think I am taxi sick. I feel bloated and dizzy in a cab ride. I managed to change my shoes in the cab, like in the movies, haha! I am pretty sure I look terrible yesterday not just because of the taxi ride but also because of the praticum briefing I had in the afternoon.
I thought this briefing was suppose to make us feel more prepared for the practicum but I was sure I went into the LT more confident than I left it. There is so many paperworks to be done and being organized is a necessity. Still, I am pretty sure I will handle it well since I survived working with the queen of all evil before and live to tell about it.
I had come pretty interesting conversations this week and it has come to my attention that some people have been turning to the internet for information. Yesterday's open meeting was fantastic when Wiliam showed the plan. He started of by asking the people whether they wanted fact or opinion. I thought that was so cool and it is true that sometimes we cannot differentiate between a fact and an opinion.
So I was talking to this girl (whom I thought was open minded) and she kept asking me about a website that she can get all the information about the business that I am doing. I informed her that it is best if I can explain instead of her surfing aroung for information because believe it or not, there are millions of websites on the net and most of them are not even credible. Also, some of the information on the net are mostly opinions of people so most of it are untrue and backs with no credibility at all.
I guess smart people are always willing to listen and this is just not one of those. God give us this thing inside our head so we can think. So please make full use of it.
The future does not belong to those who are contented with today. Rather, it will belong to those who can blend vision, reason, and courage in a personal commitment.

Other than that, this week rocks and next week will be an even rocking week. I actually finished reading this months BOM! Yay! I will be writing a review of it in my book review site soon. Meanwhile I just did a book review on the last book that I completed last week tittled Developing The Leader Within You. You can view it here.
Meanwhile take a moment to visit my latest roomie, Ivan from Dear Me! If you noticed, her blog is already on my blogroll so that means she is worth reading about. Her blog is very personal and I get jealous everytime I read her blog because it is always so full of adventures. Plus, her photos are worth every minute to look at. Recently she was in Singapore and sadly we were not able to meet due to unforeseen circumstances. I am pretty bummed that we did not get to meet since we knew each other online for quite some time. Therefore the next time, she is here, I am sure to bring her around Singapore! That goes the same for all of you who visits Singapore! Be sure to let me know early!
There is 2 hours of Prison Break on tv today. Yay!
