I had a really hectic day today. It all began when I woke up in shock because someone sent me a text message. I looked at the time, oh no, I thought, I will be late for LJ and its all the way in Yishun. I have to leave home early.
The journey to Yishun was suprisingly not very long. Perhaps it was because I was lost reading the book 24 hour turn around. While reading somewhere in Ang Mo Jio, I cannot help but felt like someone was watching me. I looked up. It was a little boy. I cannot remember his name but he is in the same class as my P6 boys who left this year. This boy is so short I remember asking him why is he lining up with the P6s when the P1s are on the left side of the walkway. Haha. I know. Paiseh. He saw me, waved frantically at me. Ok good, I thought, he did not shout my name across the train. Haha.
The LJ was great of course thanks to a great host. I am always amazed by the record keeping and progress tracking of SNOs I have visited. I aspire to be able to do good lesson planning and progress monitoring but with more than 25 students, time is really a challenge! Still, I will get down to doing it soon, so that the boys can have a more 'whole' teaching next year.
I did not have time for breakfast and lunch but thank goodness to Sha who was also starving. We ended up having lunch first before going to Jamie's school. I had no idea there was a foodcourt near the underpass and there were so many choices of food. I like. I finally had this. I was starving, any food will do.
As always we end LJ at about 5 pm and I had to rush down to newton to meet my customer, also my good friend to pass her products. She ended at 5 pm and I was still at Yishun 10 mins before 5 pm. Thank goodness, it all went well and it was great to meet and catch up on the train ride home. Wish we had more time ;) No worries, we will be meeting again at Farhanah's wedding which I must thank Fidah for alerting me that it was on a Saturday, not Sunday! Oh so careless. Thank you thank you.
Upon reaching home, I had to quickly do my Asar, so late I know, but the bus took forever to come! Waited for Maghrib before leaving home for the next appointment at 8pm. Thank you to this person who decided to meet so near my place. Thank you to my bro who sent me there and I was early.
So while waiting, there was this cat, whom someone fed. I was watching this cat and thinking to myself how cute and fat it is. I just wanted to carry it and hug it haha. I know. Cat stalker. Hah. When it was done eating, I called it. I had cat food in my bag but I knew the cat just ate. So the cat continued to hang around under the table, the chair, and finally it climbed up onto the chair opposite me and sat there licking itself. It sat there so comfortably and of course I was talking to it. When it was done licking, it stood up, looking at me across the table. See the picture? (below) SOooo cute right? Perhaps, it WAS talking to me, to make me less nervous. It ended up sitting there and sleeping all the way until my guest arrived and we left.

Anyway, today I did something I have never done before. I am glad I did it.
Thank you for the signs and guidance, even though it was rushed prayers the whole of today, I know Allah swt is always by my side. Its great that I have the opportunity to solat at An Nadha before PASE almost every Friday. When else can we ever have the opportunity to solat jemaah in our very busy life? I am thankful for what this business has given me. Great TEAM, great company to be with, great thought process, great food, good money, and intangibles of higher values than money.
Roped in to do product presentation tommorrow, I should have known!
