You can call me Noi! This blog consists of my thoughts. I am just a simple person with BIG dreams! Like the charcoal, hot pressure and extreme heat must be present in order to create a Diamond. I am in the exact same process.

What's up? / Wednesday, December 03, 2008 @ 3:56 PM
What's up?
So this week is the third week of school holidays and guess what? I am still clearing the things from this year! I was at work since last week trying to get all things done quickly so that I can proceed to do next year's work. But noooooooooo! Its just piles and piles of papers waiting to be filed, documents to be updated, emails to be sent.
Imagine the whole day doing filing! What kept me going was my lovely and equally hardworking colleagues who made the environment not too depressing. Haha!
As I was filing and looking through the list of boys I have screened the whole of this year, I realised that there were a few cases with gray areas. I am not sure if I should send them for referrals and this time I was smart enough to take out my camera and take a picture of what they arranged for me.

DST-J says 'not at risk' but looking at the pictures above, do you think I am should refer them?
Anyway I let the parents make the decision but it does suck not be able to be clear. Oh well, I will doing this whole thing again next year!
Monday, despite being drowned in papers and filing at work, the day was great mainly because of an awesome GSR session that I had with a new team mate and I had an exciting and shocking phone meeting at night.
Why shocking?
It is because this is the first time ever, calling a wrong number is a positive thing! Diy got to see for herself what it means by taking opportunities! Haha!

I also had a great time during Learning Journey yesterday. I am so blessed to have awesome classmates who are more than willing to share. The only thing that was depressing was the fact that I am left with no more funds to spend hahaha. I do not want to keep turning to SP for her funds so I have to 'tahan' and think of back up plans for next year.
While waiting for STP at 8 pm, I wass lucky and blessed enough to be accompanied by lovely Vivi, who saw snippets of the shopping monster in me. A girl is a girl and a a girl needs clothes, bag and shoes that match each other right? See the picture above? See the purple bag? Yup, everything was dumped inside so that it did not look too obvious I was from shopping.
Stopping by Darussalam for Maghrib was interesting. I never realised that the mosque is 2 bus stops away from Clementi mrt. I thought it was walking distance. The ablution area and the toilet area is so huge and there was no one so it was quite creepy. At the musollah were 4 aged ladies. Why do our mosques have to be filled by the elderly and not by younger people? I left immediately after maghrib at the same time did my asar there.
The mosque reminded me of Al Ansar at Bedok where I saw a rat ran across the hall. That was the last time you see me in Al Ansar.
Which reminds me, the new Muhajirin mosque is so beautiful. I get sentimental whenever the bus pass by there. I studied there for more than 10 years and I cannot believe the old building is gone and this new building will be the beginning chapter for future.
I left work before 12 pm today as I took time off and left SP feeling depress. Haha. However, my brain is still thinking about the long list of things to do before school re open and I worry I might cancel some of my days on leave simply so that I can get more things done.
Conclusion: Work is endless.
I still am unable to get over the shock look of the person I STP last night. Its so funny and I know it will be a story to tell one day. This is already December which means if you are still far away from your goal, you have to speed things up. Speed up in actions and you will see faster results.
Speak to me via your actions and not just via your words. Never let fear and doubt cloud your judgment to do better.
I am here for you;)
Awesome and exciting open meeting tonight! Its Mr William Anthony showing the plan!
Keep on woohooing!
