You can call me Noi! This blog consists of my thoughts. I am just a simple person with BIG dreams! Like the charcoal, hot pressure and extreme heat must be present in order to create a Diamond. I am in the exact same process.

BBS, Night owl and TD / Tuesday, November 11, 2008 @ 10:20 PM
BBS, night owl and TD
I just realised that I missed out sharing my learning point with you my dear readers on the Eagle's nest. It was a suprisingly short meeting (we spent more time hanging out and eating!) but before that we had a goal speaking session. I was totally fired up to hear Ender and Lisa's goal to break an Eagle in depth or width every month. Wow, that is a really great goal to have. I was clear in what I want and by end of this month I will have 4 legs attending functions and 15 people on SOCD/BOM. Very close? Yes I am.
Did you also know that Double Eagles and above do not have to pay for seminars anymore? Yup, they get in free and they get front seating as well. That is enough to make me soooooo excited! Thanks to the session, I am clearer in what I want and I know that with this winning team, we will raise the standards. Talking about edification, I feel that I can do better at this and I urgently need to pass this thought process to the team. If you do not know how to edify, you will never ever have a huge business. This is an important skill to have and it has benefited me both in personal and work life.
I also agreed with Ender when he said that the winning triumph card is edification. Look at Enders' team growing, its truly because he has mastered the art of edification. It is not difficult at all, all you need to do is to find good in someone and then speak it. If you do not speak it, no one will know it and no one will benefit from it.
My message of the day: SPEAK WHAT YOU WANT. (NOT WHAT YOU DO NOT WANT)
Soooooooooo in case you miss my point, THIS IS WHAT WE HAD!................
Ok I did that on purpose. Muahaha.

BBS was awesome and it was my first time sitting in front at BBS. I was sitting next to Pei Ling who was laughing so loud at TD's jokes. I was suprised to see TD so young, by age, he is not that young but looking at him, I think he can pass of as someone in late twenties! Aha...the rewards of freedom. He said many things but this impacted me the most:
Do something about the future everyday. Life is a one way street.
While we sit down and go through daily NORMAL life, we must never ever miss out on reflecting whether or not we are getting closer to our real goals in life. It is most depressing if we go through life for the sake of going through it and not make meaning of the things we do.
As awesome as the BBS was, it was only the tip of the iceberg!

Night owl was wayyyyyyy more exciting! Yes there were singing and so much laughter, I was in tears laughing..gosh. It was like 'free to be me' session. Haha. TD, in his jokes brought across this point of having a goal to bring 10 new ibos in the next 3 months. I was thinking, why not?!
Like he said, when we make a goal, God will put a situation in front of you. I was in the process of going wide and qualifying people when I find people in depth. It is always unexpected and no matter what, God always has a plan. With this in mind, I know that I will never get frustrated with whatever situation that life has got to offer.
I was also sooooooooooooooooooo blessed and loved when Eddie and Margaret sent me home. Right in front of the block you know. They would not even let me drop off at the bus stop. I was sooo touched, I knew I had to create opportunities to edify them whenever I can. They did not have to do it, but they did it anyway because they are servant leaders.
I just know that I will be talking to my children, grand children and great grandchildren about this couple who made a huge impact in my life.
Tomorrow is the second last day of the school year and I am super swarmped with work. Let's see what die die have to be done tomorrow.
- Printing of learning reviews--to be signed by form teacher and principal (die die must finish!) - Details about games, instructions for facilitators. - Game questions to be completed and hopefully printed out. - Finish collecting consent forms from all the boys who made me vomit blood chasing after their forms! - 3 screenings of boys (1 boy=1 hour) - Complete summary of screenings of boys and pass it to Cat and HOLs --must complete by recess time! - Wrap the prizes for camp, there is so many of them - Meet the parents is happening after school but mine will start as early as 8.00 am
Hmm, I am sure SP is stressed too with a totally different set of things to do and I almost freak out when she wanted to squeeze my arm... haha..maybe I should get her a stress ball.
Hmm, my favourite question from someone right now would be: "A**i, can I help you with anything?"
