Its about 10 pm and I just got home from the Awards night. I tell you, this week was really madness week. I only finished everything just now at 6 plus a while waiting to go up for duty. I MUST thank my most awesome colleagues who were on a mad rush as well. Cat was frantically collecting the forms (I really hate doing this) and handling all the accounts. I am just not a math person so I really do not like handling money, cheque that are not mine :p
Another awesome person is my partner, SP who turned into Superwoman wrapping almost all the gifts for the boys! There must be at least 50 wrap items and she, with the help of Jimmy, helped me to wrap all of them! I did not even wrap a single piece! Today was she did everything on her own and also helped me to label everything, I was sooooooo 'kan tong' (touched in mandarin..muahah).
Thank God I also had the help of Dennis who helped to drive me to vendor to get the prizes, everything was sooooooooo super last minute and I was in a rush getting all the materials for facilitators ready. I do worry that in the madness, there might be one or two things that we may have missed out. Gosh.
Overall I knew there was a lot to be done but I also knew that no matter how messed up some things are, the team will handle it well. I was assured so I was not stressed at all, though I did seem panicky just now when the vendor JUST told us to ask the boys to wear long pants. Anymore last minute things, I WILL strangle the vendor myself.
Thank you TEAM! It was not possible without everyone's support. I am truly blessed.
I was sooooooooooo proud today because I saw Nathaniel receiving the first in class prize, so happy I was almost in tears! Aiyo, I am really like a proud parent, and his mom came to thank me. It was priceless. Yup, that look on Nathaniel's face was priceless to me. Imagine this is a boy who has NEVER pass his exams before. I was wowed! Next year he will be in P6 but he still looked like a baby to me! I am sure those who know him will agree with me. Haha!
I also got to know that my planning week ends on Friday next week and not Thursday. Now, nothing is ever announced in school and obviously I do not know. It was a 4 day planning week last year so I thought it would be the same this year! I was not going to miss FED on Friday so I die die have to leave for KL on Friday morning. I know my other team mates will have challenges too, almost everyone is down for meetings and duties. Don't worry, God always has a bigger plan for you.
I am scrambling to find time to visit Farhanah who just gave birth! Congrats! This weekend is packed but nevertheless, I WILL find the time. There is always time to do things that are of a priority.
I am looking forward to bake and cook these holidays, if time permits this time. I am actually a really homey person, even though I have been out most of the time this whole year. I am looking forward to having my own house soon, it will be like a mini project personalising it.
I wonder when it will be? ;)
