Today I had the chance to go back to the centre to meet Yong Huat, my dear student whom I miss so much. I also got to meet a new student, also with autism, who to me is one of the smartest kid I have ever met. I am still wondering why she is not in mainstream schools when she is so smart. I also had some time to bake for the first time in 10 years! Yay! I have always love baking and the only reason I could not do that was because we had no oven at home. It is pathetic I know. Therefore today, I tried making brownie! And it went ok! I actually used the instant type so it was not too difficult. Now that I know that I still can bake, I shall be trying out several recipes next week. Yippie. Here is my final product, some of you will get to taste it tommorow!It taste better than it looks ok! Haha.
Recent happenings have cause me to take a stand for myself. For example, some of my friends who had amnesia, suddenly remembered me when they need or want me to do something. I am happy they recovered their amnesia and now that they remember me being a friend, I am so ecstatic that we can finally pick up from where we left off. NOT.
Even with Friendster, I have people adding me when I have no idea who they are and they have no idea who I am. I only accept people I know for my list of friends on Friendster. Why do you want to add a total stranger onto your list? So everyone can see how many 'friends' you have? That is pathetic man! Unless, that particular person sends me a message wanting to be friends or wanting to know more about me, I do not just accept anybody ok. That is basic courtesy. There are some strangers who messages me wanting to be friends and some have lasted even till now and its been more than 2 years. I am fine with making friends.
I also did something nasty. Ok not really nasty. I deleted some of the people on my friendster list because of their 'presence'. I am not mad and I understand that some people are so busy they do not have time to pick up the phone and reply your smses. Its ok, as long as you are happy, I am happy for you.
On a lighter note, yesterday was phenomenal! Would you believe me if I told you that after the function ended, we were all in front of the stage singing to the 'I wanna be rich' song? It was crazy and I was stucked in the middle of the circle so I had no choice but to join! Haha. I remember turning to ImNeo and asking her, "What have you done to the crowd?".
These are the faces of the winners. I hope Lisa and Ender are not mad at me using their picture for this post. I have never seen busier people like these 2 winners and to achieve silvership amongst being busy is a big accomplishment! Winners will always be winners unless they give up on their dreams. Lisa mentioned about making God a major shareholder of your business. I didnt realise that. Sometimes life can make your vision blurred and you will not see the light at the end of the tunnel. However, faith can give your the assurance that there is indeed light at the end of the tunnel. You just got to believe in God and yourself. I was inspired by the whole team of winners and I will definitely go get the job done this fiscal year. Its a done deal and I know I shall be receiving that bouquet of flowers too.
Looking forward to tommorow's PASE when we can make some noises! Woohoo. Thank you, I am so blessed to part of this team and I cannot imagine how my life would be without this business. Please, bring your own tissue paper for tommorow.
