I seem to have a lot of things to write about these few days. Perhaps it is because I have been thinking about a lot of things lately and writing it helps me to untangle some unsettleness that I have been feeling.
It would be wonderful to fall in love with your best friend right? Its too bad my best friend is a girl so if any falling in love were to happen, it will cause serious life changing moments in the future! Haha!
Last night's function was awesome. You know, I must say, the Gala leaders do have a lot more sense of humour nowadays then back then and that is probably due to us (the Singaporean team) joining their open meeting. I am blessed and thankful that the storms did not chase me away but instead gave me more strength and determination to finish it off.
The wonderful fact was that I had a good friend as a guest and she was predictable. I like that. Working with predictable people are fantastic, I do not have to worry about the nitty gritty stuffs that will cause headaches. My motto is: work with people who are easy to work with. Do not make life miserable for yourself. On some level, I know that I have done my part by sharing and the rest of the journey is in the hands of the person whom I showed the plan to. I have seen so many types of people through the years and sometimes I think its a pattern. Every once in a while someone lazy, someone with big dreams, someone with low self esteem, someone with lots of challenges, someone who is confused about life, someone who do not know where they are going, someone who knows exactly what they want out of life, shows up. Its normal. People may be of different race, religion, culture, but they are people. They think the same way and that is why the Britt education system still works fantastic after more than 40 years in business.
I also had the pleasure of spending some time with one of my upcoming leaders Naf, whom I must say, have grown so much personally and in business. I was also very proud to see another duplication happening with Fir and brother. This is our year and we are making it happen as I am writing this. I treat you all like my own family and I am proud to be team mates with all of you.
I was shocked and sadden by news about a friend. She, a very pretty, young, healthy lady has been diagnosed with cancer stage 2 and currently is undergoing chemotherapy. I feel so sad for her. Its like all of a sudden, life stops and she is forced to fight for her life. I cannot help but wonder what if it happened to me? What will I leave behind? Will it really matter to people whether I am around or not?
No doubt that this can happen to anyone and anytime but that is still no excuse not to take care of our health. Wealth without health is useless and that is why our health is the greatest commodity that we have now. Our time is comes second.
Therefore, if you are young and healthy and not doing anything to make life better for others and yourself, there is seriously no point living. We are free to create abundance in every area of our life. Think abundance, not scarcity.
Of course sometimes you have to give up who you are in order to become the person you want to be. But it will be worth it. I can promise you that.
