Oh Sunday, you are here so late and now you are going to go again.
I started the day really early. 8 am! I woke up thanks to phonecall from Mom who asked me to hurry and change because she is on the way back from the wet market. We agreed that today, I will get to drive the car. Even though I passed, the family car is auto and I need to familiarise myself with it.
It took some time getting used to it. For once, I do not have to step on the clutch pedal (yay!) and no need to keep changing gears. That IS good. So easy, felt like I was driving a toy car. Haha. Nevertheless, the road is filled with people who do not give way and people who do not have any patience even with the displayed triangle signifying that I am a new driver. What in the world?!!
Thank goodness, I am not that scaredy cat and yes I myself do not give others way too. Muahah. Bad influence from a certain someone. Haha. Before stepping into the car, I told my dad, I will drive with one rule: NO negative talk!
That means, correct me when I am wrong but do not say things that I am no good, I am slow, I am lousy yada yada yada. I do not need to hear negative talk when I am driving.
Good thing it worked. We actually drove all the way to airport and then to ECP where we tried parking. Oh, my parking is so lousy, I have to master it! If not I will not be able to go out and drive alone! I shall master it in no time!
Took the chance to pick up bestie from home to go to CL class. Good day, no sudden break, no banging into anything, anyone. I think I did good! (self praise since no one will do it for me:p)
For some reason I am extremely sleepy today. I can sleep anywhere anytime. After coming home and resting for a while in the afternoon, went out to go marketing. I got to drive again and since I was used to driving in crowded places and places with endless traffic jams since I live in the middle of traffic jams. Give me a few days, and I will drive like a pro.
Did not have proper lunch, but my parents brought us to Hawa, our usual hangout place to eat. I think I have not eaten chicken rice in 3 weeks! Wow, so amazing that I can 'tahan' not eating it but frankly it was also not on purpose thanks to hectic schedule during weekends.
I have the tendency to finish all that is on the plate as I was brought up not to waste any food. Hmm, a good thing and a bad thing as well.
The beancurd was satisfying. Haha.
I am behind on readings. I ended up not reading at night because I am so exhausted nowdays before I go to bed. I find mornings a better time to read but its always too rushed. Usually I bring a book to Buddy Reading so while waiting, I read. For my P3 group, they are more well behaved and they know to read when they arrived. For my P4 group, since its a bigger group, they can be noisy and rowdy and sometimes doing the most ridiculous things so it can be pretty challenging. It is not my favourite thing to be scolding anyone early in the morning, it usually dampens the mood for the rest of the day.
Looking forward to a shorter week! Yay!
