you're the one for me >>
but I do not know who and where you are........... < ">

You can call me Noi! This blog consists of my thoughts. I am just a simple person with BIG dreams! Like the charcoal, hot pressure and extreme heat must be present in order to create a Diamond. I am in the exact same process.

Retail Therapy

As you can see, I registered at MyBlogLog, its on your left. For those who regularly read this humble site of mine, do register as members so that I know you are the ones reading it. It is for your own good, in case I write something bad about you. Haha. Just kidding. I know my readers are generally shy people but still, do register especially if I already know that you are already reading what I write. Do me this honour.

So today is Monday and for those of you who are working and dragging yourself to work, let me let you in on a comfort. Mondays are off days for me! Yay! The classes are scheduled in such a way that I have Mondays and Wednesdays free. Well, not exactly free, there are assignments and laminating of cards to be done of course but still, I do not have to travel and be in class. The timing for the classes sucked because it is the same time people working in the town area goes to work. Everytime I want to board the train, I cant because the train is so full of people. Everyones personal space bubble would have been severely violated that sometimes I cant even raised my hand to read my notes/book. Not to mention the traffic jam to Eunos mrt. I wonder why people call it rush hour when everything is so slow. I also wonder why people would choose to do this their whole life, working away as if there are no other choices.

Recently, since I started school again, I always feel like I am in the wrong crowd. There are basically 3 crowds in the train in the morning. They belong to 3 different groups of people.

1. People going to work. These are the people dressed formally. The ladies will be in the high heels, little handbags that cant fit in a lot of things, overly sprayed perfumes and of course they will be wearing their freshly made make up. The guys will be in the shirts, some with ties, black shiny shoes that you can see your teeth when you smile at it and not forgetting that neat combed hair.

2. People going to school. Since the schools with uniforms starts earlier at 7.30am (thank goodness!) they will not be seen here. Unless of course, they are skipping classes which is pretty normal nowadays since studying is boring. You can identify those going to school when they wear jeans, shirts or t-shirts, a big bag that may seem that they are running away from home, huge water bottles to help them manage their fear of dying of thirst, messy hair, eyes like panda and of course some will be busy typing away on their laptop.

3. People going nowhere. Now. Tell me. If you are unemployed and not schooling, why in the world would you leave home so early in the morning? There are people who belong to this group, some will be in outfits so shiny it hurts my eye and others will look so bad with clothes that you will appreciate what Britney Spears is wearing.

I cant decide if I belong to (1) or (2).

I admit that with my obsessive compulsive disorder, I can get a little stressed up with what to wear to school. I know that there is no one there who is worth dressing up for but still, there must be hundreds of people in the train and who knows one of them might be Prince Charming. Or ex boyfriends. The rule is to always look good in case you run into your ex boyfriends to make them feel like they should never let you go in the first place. Am I making sense?

Suprisingly, this has never happen to me before. Not even in my teens. Perhaps I AM a late bloomer. Haha. Even so, my dear classmates made me feel like I overdress at times but what they are missing is that I only dress up because:

1. I cannot rely on my natural beauty.
2. I am a business owner and I represent one of the best companies in the world.
3. I do retail therapy a lot resulting in so many clothes accumulated over the years so why not just wear it while I still fit it.

So there. One thing must be clear. I dress up for me and not for any guy. Woohoo.

I think I must work in that retail therapy thing. I have to cut down on it immediately or I will not be able to pay for my own wedding and end up being like one of those couples who are still paying their wedding debts after having 3 children. Unless of course, I marry a prince.

Which brings me to my next point. There are no royalties in Singapore! So girls, quit fantasizing about this!

Anyway, I was watching this documentary about female entrepreneurs and I am sure I have heard every single advice that she gave from the Britt leaders. Success principles are universal no matter where you are and who you are.

I would like to end this post by congratulating the winners of Amazing Race Asia! Female duo Zabrina Fernandez, 26, and Joe Jer Tee, 29, made headlines and created history – not only were they the winners of the very first season of The Amazing Race Asia, they were also the first ever all-female team to win the grand prize in the history of The Amazing Race franchise! They are clear examples of people who do not put a limit onto themselves even when history proves a certain way.

Girl Power!

Also the heartiest congratulations to our national soccer team for winning the Asean Football Championship final! I thought we would never regain the glory from the Malaysia Cup days. This match was also the first match that I sat throughout after years sulking against Singapore exit out of Malaysia Cup. Ole Ole!
