you're the one for me >>
but I do not know who and where you are........... < ">

You can call me Noi! This blog consists of my thoughts. I am just a simple person with BIG dreams! Like the charcoal, hot pressure and extreme heat must be present in order to create a Diamond. I am in the exact same process.

Being loyal

You Are a Chocolate Chip Cookie

Traditional and conservative, most people find you comforting.

You're friendly and easy to get to know. This makes you very popular - without even trying!

This picture of cookies looks delicious huh? Hmm, chocolate chip cookies and cheesecake are my weakness. When you put either one of this in front of me, it WILL be gone. It will.

This has been a particular;y crazy and hectic week, despite it being the holidays. Planning week was from Monday to Thursday and I was free whenever they were doing subject and CCA planning. I was only down for department planning, now of which, I have been given a task that is important and that it will directly affect the zero period curriculum next year. While I am honoured to be given this task, it is, but additional work for me to do, on top of the pile of things to do this June holidays.

So on Monday, I joined the P2 level for the level bonding, it was great. I think the approach of the leaders of my school are excellent, they sure know how to tap into the teacher's passion resulting in them being more dedicated than before. It is a lot similar to the approach recommended by John C. Maxwell and I suspect that my principals are reading John C. Maxwell's books! Plus, incorporating games into the already hectic schedule was a brilliant move. I am glad I am in this environment, poised for more growth.

Wed open meeting was blast. We conquered the centre block, yay! It is our aim to fill up the centre block, because that is the best place to see, to grow and to learn. Thank goodness, I was early, they had a barbecue in the evening in school, so I stayed for that. I mean, free food, I do not have to worry dinner that day. Haha. I always hate it when Eddie shows the plan, and I have no guests! Argh! He shows an awesome plan, in fact I think the plan gets better and better and it is only someone with a blind heart will not be able to see the potential and opportunity that lies in front of them.

They were due to leave for the Alaskan cruise on Saturday morning, and we all know they of all people deserve this. This is real, Eddie mentioned that unlike in corporate world, where the time you take to get there matters, here, it does not matter. It does not matter if you take 10 months, 10 years, 20 years, the rewards will be yours, as promised. Where in the world can you find a system like this?

Because it is the holidays, I was listening to Kankan and Samina's cd about loyalty that totally wowed me. They were sooo awesome, and I cannot believe I am under their leadership. It is still serene to me and I think I have to honour them by making it.

The message make sense, as usual. Be loyal to your dreams, to your words, and then to your actions that follows after it. A dream shall remain a fantasy with no action. I still remember someone once say, we are the ONLY creatures in the planet that have been given the ability to dream. Use it wisely. I am staying very loyal to be dream of not working till 65, and I have given myself only the next 5 years to retire. You may not want to believe it, you may laugh at it, by all means do so. But it WILL happen.

Being loyal to your family also means giving them the best of what they deserve. If you are not ready mentally, start doing things that will make you ready. Sitting around and waiting will not do anything to change what is already happening.

It really irks me when people do are not loyal to their words. For instance, I had a fuft on saturday and the person I met was loyal to her words. We met as promised, she returned my lit pack. All is well. There is no resceduling, hiding away, not picking up the phone, like what some people do. Please do not get me wrong, I am not angry, I am sad that they do not have the decency and common sense.

So Lisa shared something PASE which totally get to me. PASE meetings nowadays is like a pot of boiling soup. It is so full, there are people outside the house. Its really awesome. She shared that there are basically 3 types of people:

1. People who can help you.
2. People who can hurt you.
3. People who do not matter at all.

With God's grace, I seem to have identified quite of people who fall into (2). It doesnt matter to me. They were there for a purpose, to allow me to see a bigger picture of people. Their nature, their behaviour, their beliefs.

I have also identified people who fall into (1) and I am sticking to them like glue.

I hope you do not fall into (3), and if you do, it wouldnt have matter anyway.

Have an exciting week ahead!
