You can call me Noi! This blog consists of my thoughts. I am just a simple person with BIG dreams! Like the charcoal, hot pressure and extreme heat must be present in order to create a Diamond. I am in the exact same process.

Hello all! I hope everyone is doing as good as me. Even if you are not, keep saying it and it will come true.

I know it is the first week of the school holidays and there should be not much things to do. For me, the school had planning week from Monday to Wednesday. It was ok. At the start of the planning week, everyone was given a paper bag to hang up. We were supposed to write our names on the stickers to label. The paperbags were for other teachers/staffs to drop notes. It can be any notes, notes of encouragement or notes of appreciation. I was not sure if I would get any since I was still new to the school and I did not really work with a lot of teachers. Nevertheless, on Wednesday, I found 2 notes dropped into my bags. One was from Edwin, this really quiet teacher and another was from a person whom I could not read his/her signature. Hmm..it was still nice though.

I went over to my old workplace on Wednesday because I really wanted to see the kids whom I have missed so much. I was also there to see Kak Nor and Nurul off on their last day there. Yay! Free at last. I think anyone who has ever worked there, will survive at any other workplace as I do not think there is a bigger workplace of hell than over there. As expected, there were rivers of tears especially when the kids kept waving us goodbye from the window. Some of the kids were only with Kak Nor and Nurul for a few months but they were still sad. I know Kak Nor leaving the place was extra sad because she has always been the most motherly and most caring amongst all of us. I cannot believe that the witch of all evil cannot see what a wonderful individual she is.

Some of the ex students of SCC also came back and oh my they have gotten so tall! Even taller than me. I am sure they will all have a special place in our hearts.

I heard about this movie, 50 first dates from Nurul who kept saying that this is a really nice movie. I did not get to watch it until Thursday night when they aired it on TV. I have not watched tv properly for a long time particularly because:

1. There is nothing good on tv.
2. I cannot be bothered to watch tv.

I started watching with much skepticism because I know it was a love story and I am not really a fan of that. As the story went on, I was suprised how the simple yet appealing storyline kept me hooked. In a nutshell, this story is about Henry (Adam Sandler) who fell in love with this girl Lucy (Drew Barrymore). The only thing is, Lucy has lost her short term memory and she is not able to retain any memory from daily occurances. Since she can never remember meeting him, Henry has to romance Lucy every single day and hope that she falls for him.

Ok I admit that I am a fan of Adam Sandler. He is funny and I like funny guys. As funny and comedic this movie is, this condition of short term memory loss is real and there are people out there who suffers from this. Imagine not being able to remember your feelings and experiences from today. Isnt that sad? Our lives is made up of all the little memories we create for ourselves on a daily basis and not being able to do that is a tragedy to me. However, watching this, I was so touched by Adam Sandler's character is trying to win her heart every single day. I think having someone to sacrifice this much for love is touching.

I am not sure such love stories exist in real life. I hope they do and if you are one of those who have experiences with such touching love stories, do tell me about it and let me know. I hope to be enlightened and not jaded like I am now. Somehow deep in my heart still belive that such true love exist but those thoughts are currently undergoing battles with other negative thoughts regarding this matter.

Good news!
