you're the one for me >>
but I do not know who and where you are........... < ">

You can call me Noi! This blog consists of my thoughts. I am just a simple person with BIG dreams! Like the charcoal, hot pressure and extreme heat must be present in order to create a Diamond. I am in the exact same process.

Clogs I am

You Are Clogs

You are a solid and down to earth person.

You almost always achieve a really sound balance in your life.

You are stylish yet comfortable. Mellow but driven. Excited yet calm.

You are the perfect mesh of contradictions.

No matter what happens, you have the ability to stay well grounded in your life.

People know that they can truly depend on you.

You should live: In Europe

You should work: At a company dedicated to helping the world

I am not sure whether the school is dedicated to helping the world. However I do believe that the school exphasizes a lot on character. Perhaps having a good character is one of the way to change the world.

I hope that people know that they can depend on me. I try my best to make sure my words match my actions and if that is not enough for people to trust and believe in me, I have nothing to say. I have had really bad experience with people not being accountable to their words and that alone do not create a very good first impressions. BUT then again, this world must have the mixture of negatives and positives so I shall let it be. Till then, have a little faith.........

Friday was an extremely hectic day for me. Sometimes I even have challenges replying smses and there were just so many smses on Friday. I am sorry if I replied late or not at all, I must have forgotten in the midst of all the happenings.

I was looking through (and desperately trying to organise the many psychological reports on my desk) when I stumbled upon a boy's birthdate. He has the same birthdate as me, of course not in the same year. As I looked through his report, I saw this in his report.

'Due to his ongoing difficulty in reading and writing, it is highly recommended that he is supported by the special needs officer in the school. He will benefit from the implementation of IEP and a highly structured and multisensory programme.'

This report was dated October 2007!

Soooo, I talked to Wes (this boy's classmate) about this boy and asked him if it is ok to have a another boy around. He was ok with it so I made my way to their class just before 2pm. Upon arriving and since it was MT period there were a a lot of movement. Seeing my face at the door, some boys rushed to me and said, "Miss Afni, I dont know how to read, can I please come to your class?"

Another one was more direct and even asked me when can he come my class so I can help him!

Overall, I think about half the class personally came to me and what was so funny to me is that they are all serious about it! I dont even know how all of them suddenly know me. Maybe they all think that I help weak students and they consider themselves weak. I mean, they are in the last class, can I really blame them for thinking that?

After testing this boy, I realised that he does not have a decoding problem. However he does have a sentence structure problem. Seeing that Wes was so much more weaker than him, I really did not want to take another student in. After much begging from this boy to come to my class, I finally decided to take him, once a week, only to help me in supporting Wes so that Wes can gain some confidence in himself.

So there, 21 students to date. About 4 of them are quite independent and doing well and I may have to consider releasing them if any more cases come up.

I was so excited to see Naf do her first demo and all the while I had no idea that she had innocently left water out of the whole demo! The amazing thing was that the demo still worked! Being at the back also meant that I could not see until after the whole PASE meeting was over. Haha! Nevertheless I am so proud of her for doing such an awesome job! Naf dear, you should definitely conquer the Britt stage more often!

This year is definitely and exciting year for me and team mates! Our team is expanding like crazy and its all thanks to the awesome leadership that we are so blessed to have.

STP on a Sunday morning! Excitement!
